Connections Lead

Our brand-new Connections Team acts as an internal marketing agency. As the conduit between our brands and agencies, we set the creative agenda for the business, running the creative development process and managing brief through to post campaign analysis, across all of our iconic brands.

 

You will be joining our award winning marketing team to represent some of the most exciting brands in the market - Lion is the home to many loved NZ Adult Beverages, from Speight's and Steinlager through to Mac's, Wither Hills, Zeffer, Smirnoff, Panhead and Little Creatures.

 

The Role

Working across all brands, you will own connections strategy, planning and implementation. Taking creative ideas and bringing them to life across all consumer connection points to drive meaning, brand equity and ultimately conversion.

 

A day in the life

  • Lead the development, planning and execution of all key brand consumer connections plans to achieve brand objectives
  • Oversee the execution of all brand consumer communications (excluding shopper campaigns)
  • Partner with media, digital and PR agencies and internal stakeholders across Lion
  • Manage overall campaign budgets, including creative, media and digital  
  • Measure, track and share insights on performance and codify for ROI

 

Key to your success -

As well as a background in campaign management, marketing management or communications management, you will bring –

  • Strong understanding of channel planning
  • Knowledge of how bought, earned, owned and shared media work together
  • Highly collaborative / at ease engaging and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working with agencies – ideally media, PR and creative
  • Excitement and passion for our brands
