We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join the Supply Chain Finance team, reporting to the Commercial Manager for Logistics and Reporting. This is a permanent full-time position, based at our Sydney CBD office with the flexibility to work from home 50% of the time.

As a Commercial Analyst – Customer Supply, you will partner with the Logistics Operations Team and the Senior Commercial Analyst in the team to provide financial and commercial analysis and insights to enable better decisions and manage business performance.


You will gain exposure to a large FMCG logistics function and engage and gain experience in a true commercial business partnering role! This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to make the role their own by establishing governance & processes and improve existing processes to drive outcome.


A day in the life…
•    Provide commercial decision support, drive results and create value through deep operational and day to day analysis
•    Partner with the Logistics operations team and provide support and input into the deep commercial insight generation, risks and opportunities identification and mitigation, commercial outlook
•    Support timely, accurate and insightful management of P&L and Balance Sheet, including review and monitor performance for key financial metrics, planning and reporting, and communication of the results
•    Support monthly closure, reporting and forecasting
•    Support development of a robust 3-year plan / budget / forecast in alignment with strategy and agreed timelines 

In addition, you will identify and support value creation and continuous improvement initiatives.

We’re seeking an individual with commercial, financial and analytics experience who can use data to generate insights and influence decisions. SAP experience and experience partnering with a logistics or supply chain function would be highly beneficial to this role.
