We have an exciting opportunity to join our new-look Reward & Recognition team as Reward Specialist reporting to our recently joined Reward Director. The Reward team is undergoing significant change as we reshape our Reward practices towards a forward-looking customer-centric Reward experience.  This role will be at the heart of this change that will truly make a difference for the future of Reward at Lion. This is a permanent role based out of our York Street Office with hybrid flexible working arrangements available.
 

A day in the life…

This role primarily provides Reward and Recognition counsel and expertise to our broader People & Culture team. You will be our subject matter on all things Reward across our business, some of which include:

  • Supporting the delivery of Lion’s core reward programs.
  • Conducting regular reward analysis to meet business priorities
  • Managing Lion’s reward grading framework, including analysis and insights during our annual process
  • Participating in the Achievement Review project team bringing your subject matter expertise to this team for the annual remuneration review cycle ensuring that the Compensation module reflects current guidelines and practice.
  • Conducting annual Gender Pay Equity analysis in partnership with P&C project team
  • Lifting the capability on Reward across the business through the simplification of our reward practices and educating Lion businesses on our reward principles, practices, and methodologies.

What you will need from day one…<span 72=""> 

  • Degree qualification with a major in human resources / business or related tertiary qualification
  • Advanced data analytics skills along with experience extracting, manipulating, and analysing data in excel.
  • Demonstrated Project management skills with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and a high degree of problem-solving skills
  • Ability to apply curiosity and an open-minded approach to data and Reward
