To deliver on Lion’s strategic marketplace and workplace objectives, we are currently looking for a Supply Chain NPD Project Leader to join the team based at The Pride, East Tamaki on a full time permanent basis.  

As the NPD Project Leader, you will be responsible for the timely project management and delivery of new products in the Supply Chain.

 A day in this role could involve:

  • Delivery of new product development across our New Zealand Supply Chain network, from feasibility assessment through to delivery into market, in full, on time.
  • Evaluation of information on new product from internal & external stakeholders
  • Ensure great execution of NPD in the Supply Chain through robust evaluation of risks across cost, capability and capacity
  • Influence and partner a wide range of stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate and deliver project outcomes

Key to your success will be:

  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to influence and engage peers and leaders
  • The ability to break through conventional thinking and solve problems to be truly innovative
  • Demonstrated capability to juggle multiple projects, prioritise and hit deadlines
  • Business partnering with internal stakeholders
  • Sound analytical and problem solving skills
  • Previous experience within NPD and the stage gate process is desirable
