We currently have a rare opportunity to join our People and Culture (P&C) team as a Senior HR Advisor, reporting to our People & Change Leader. This exciting opportunity is a permanent role based out of our York Street Office with hybrid flexible working arrangements available. 
 

A day in the life…

This role is set up to provide coaching and specialist advice to Lion Leaders on P&C practices, developing leader capability and improving the experience and performance of our teams.  This includes:

  • Generalist P&C advice: team member coaching on performance, team effectiveness, interpretations of P&C Policies, practices, and remuneration advice.
  • Employment relations: Supporting workplace investigations and case management.
  • Annual people practices: General capability and process queries from Leaders in relation to the Lion Achievement Cycle, development planning and engagement action planning.
  • Culture & change initiatives: Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives, org and team design, process and practice improvements.

 

You will be part of a centralised P&C advisory team and you will have the support of our People & Culture Coordinators, coupled with our centre of excellence teams to aid you in collaborating with all areas of the business.

 

What you will need from day one… 

  • 3-5+ years people & culture generalist experience supporting annual people practices, reward, employment relations, P&C policy and initiative deployment.  
  • Experience coaching and supporting leaders to build empowered and high performing teams.
  • Exposure to change management methodologies and cultural change programs is preferred but not essential.
  • Degree qualified with a major in human resources / industrial relations is preferred but not essential.

 

We’re looking for someone who is a strong coach & partner to our Leaders, who has solid experience navigating a variety of complex employment issues and who has the HR generalist experience to operate quite autonomously with a remote Leader.
