Within our newly formed Connections team we’re looking for a Creative Strategist to join us on a permanent basis out of our York Street Office.
 

We’re looking for a creative strategic mind to deliver culturally meaningful, breakthrough strategy and creative ideas for all brand consumer communications. You will get the opportunity to work with some iconic brands, such as XXXX, Furphy, James Squires and Little Creatures, alongside some of the best minds in the business to deliver a tangible impact to our organisation.
 

A day in the life…

  • You will lead the consumer strategy development for key brands at Lion
  • Manage the development of ideas and brand creative in partnership with our agency to ensure the consistent quality of execution in our brand communication.
  • Demonstrate creativity and vision by developing campaign content for brands fit for all relevant consumer touchpoints
  • Lead and collaborate with our agency partners/ brand leaders/ design and Connections team to deliver brand outcomes

 

What you will need from day one…

  • A keen external focus and curiosity to what is going on in our culture to translate this into effective brand communication
  • A deep understanding of Consumer Strategic Planning fundamentals through the planning cycle; Where are we now? Why are we there? Where could we be? How do we get there? Are we getting there?
  • Effective planning and prioritisation of projects and campaigns to ensure they are delivered with stakeholder alignment
  • Proven track record of strong Strategic Planning capabilities and prominent case studies with reflective industry awards
  • Ability to work across multiple stakeholders to drive brand outcomes that link to the longer-term brand strategy
  • Ability to challenge the status quo on how our brands show up culturally 
  • Deep understanding of creative strategy and planning across different categories and brands
