• Make your mark in our National Accounts team • Partnering one of Lions key business partners • Flexible work arrangements availableDue to an internal promotion Lion is on the hunt for a National Business Manager - Foodstuffs North Island. Reporting through to our National Accounts Director, this role is responsible for delivering profitable and sustainable business growth across our grocery channel which includes the Beer, Wine, and Cider categories for the New World, Pak n Save and 4 Square banners. This position also has line management responsibly for a Key Account Executive responsible for Lion’s liquor brands within the Gilmours wholesale business and management of supply into the distribution centre.
As an important role within the Lion’s sales team you will manage the daily business relationship with Foodstuffs North Island as their trusted business advisor.
Key responsibilities will include:• building joint business plans at an executive level to deliver mutual growth, • achieving sales volume and profitability targets, • generating promotional plans to deliver share targets within agreed investment levels, • facilitating cross company networks to optimise operational performance and • advocating for Foodstuffs North Island within the Lion business.
This role is critical in building a trusting and sustainable relationship between Foodstuffs and Lion. The successful candidate will exhibit a can-do attitude, strong leadership qualities and be supported with advanced account management skills & knowledge. Your previous experience within FMCG key accounts management would be helpful however the right person with a strong desire to succeed is more important for us to find.
