We brew and deliver an iconic range of beers and now you can be part of the team that will ensure our service and offering is just as iconic as our beers.
We have an opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team in the position of Inwards Goods and Warehouse Co-Ordinator on a permanent basis. This role is based in Dunedin at our new “spiritual home” and will report to our Production & Purchasing Planner.
Your role will be to coordinate and process incoming and outgoing orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring inventory levels and quality of inventory are matching the demands of the business. You will receive and process inwards goods ensuring goods are to order and of expected quality along with assisting Despatch and Delivery to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time. You will manage the warehouse rotation of stock to achieve good warehouse ‘flow’ along with coordinating with our Packaging team leader on inventory levels. We’re looking for someone to take ownership of coordinating with our venue kitchen staff on incoming goods and following up to correct any order or freight issues. You will manage stock levels and provide stock takes as required as well as lend a hand to event logistics where needed.
We’re looking for people with previous exposure in beer or similar industry freight and logistics who have a Forklift to OSH and Vehicle and Forklift Full Licence. If you have a good knowledge of transport systems and freight requirements along with a demonstrated passion for delivering outstanding service we want to hear from you! The ability to develop solutions/systems to solve logistic challenges is highly desirable along with the ability to effectively operate autonomously and deliver on targets.
Ideally you will have a passion for craft beer (and hopefully Emerson’s!) and love to work in an inclusive, social environment where you are supported to learn and develop new skills.
