We're looking for a highly skilled individual to join our People & Culture team as a Senior HR Advisor for a 12 month contract commencing September 2021.  In this role you will provide support to our leaders in continually developing their practical leadership knowledge to ensure they have the required skill set to proactively address people issues & develop and grow our people. 

Reporting to our Culture & Change Leader and based in Auckland, this is a people excellence focused role that offers an opportunity to grow your experience as a HR generalist and have a positive impact on the future state of our People Processes.  Working as part of a team of 5 Advisors - based across Sydney and Auckland - you will be part of a centralised agile working P&C Advisor team. You will have the support of People & Culture Coordinators, coupled with our centre of excellence teams to aid you in collaborating with all areas of the business.

Your ability to navigate through robust coaching conversations with leaders around our performance framework, Employment Relations issues and other HR practices will help set you up for success in this role. Your communication and facilitation skills are key in delivering the appropriate capability sessions as per the current and future needs of the business.

You will provide day to day coaching and guidance to leaders to help our people be the best they can be. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in broader organisation-wide projects, working with the Lion People & Culture team across Australia and New Zealand.

We’re looking for someone who is a strong coach & partner to our Leaders, who has solid experience navigating a variety of complex employment issues & grievances and who has the HR generalist experience to operate quite autonomously with a remote Leader.
