  • Co-ordinate and lead successful enhancements and operational use of the Logistics transport management system (TMS) solution
  • Identify, support and deliver safety, quality, service and cost improvements through the design and deployment of the TMS solution
  • Establish key stakeholder network within Logistics operation teams and with our TMS solutions partner(s) and other key teams

Due to an internal promotion, a permanent position has become available for a Logistics Transport Systems (TMS) Coordinator to join our Logistics team based at our corporate Docklands office. 

This is an exciting opportunity to become the subject matter expert of our Transport Management System (TMS) solution and as such be the ‘go to’ support person for the Logistics Operations team. You will lead the implementation of enhancements in TMS, including our reporting tool Track and Trace, our customer facing App and Integrations with external and internal systems. Using your skills in process mapping, you will analyse existing operational processes and recommend new processes supported by the Transport Management Systems (TMS) solution. You will be a key point of contact for logistics operations queries not handled through the standard operating and reporting processes.

  • Identify, analyse, develop and deliver safety, quality, service and cost improvements through enhancements of the TMS solution
  • Be the SME of the TMS reporting tool, our customer App and Integrations for all fleets, customers, 3PL’s and 4PL’s
  • Act as key contact point for Logistics operations internal and external queries about the TMS reporting tool, our customer App and Integrations
  • Prepare and deliver documentation and training in TMS
  • Identify, prepare and share best in class reporting for operational needs within the TMS reporting tool and/or in power BI (TMS focus)
  • Process map existing TMS process flows and recommend new flows that will enable quantitative and/or qualitative benefits to operations
  • Assist in linking broader initiatives undertaken by Logistics where TMS can or could be of assistance
  • Work hand in hand with our systems supplier to enhance the secure access to our growing TMS solution
  • Champion team processes through the utilisation of smartsheets for tracking, prioritisation and documentation of developments
  • Assist the TMS leader in the successful delivery of the program

To be successful in this role, you will enjoy being part of a collaborative team. Through your strong influencing, communication and people skills you will easily build key relationships with a variety of stakeholders from logistics operations, 3PLs, customer service, TMS suppliers, IT and finance.

Experience with Transport Management Systems is essential with strong Microsoft office skills. Ideally, you will come from a Supply Chain logistics background with a good understanding of change management and operational impact awareness, with the ability to understand drivers, while influencing and supporting and always considering the ‘big picture’. Experience with Power BI and SQL is preferred.
