We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Strategy & Corporate Development Advisor to join the Strategy and Corporate Development team. This is a permanent full-time position based at our York Street office in Sydney CBD, with flexible work arrangements available.

We are the largest brewer in Australia, bringing together four large and four small breweries across the country – from the iconic XXXX Brewery in Queensland and Boag’s Brewery in Tasmania to craft breweries such as Malt Shovel Brewery in Sydney and Little Creatures in Fremantle and Geelong. We also have Breweries and distribution channels in New Zealand, and a Little World Beverages arm which is focused on growing a portfolio of premium, crafted beverages in overseas markets.


The role:

This is an exciting career opportunity for an experienced corporate finance / M&A professional to work closely with the leadership team and help drive strategic opportunities which will shape our aspirations to create growth for our business, our people and our brands.

The position reports to the Strategy and Corporate Development Leader and will work amongst an experienced team in the delivery of quality advice, modelling, research and analytical insights to senior stakeholders and assist in the identification and execution of acquisitions and divestments across the Lion group.

We are looking for someone with passion, flair and confidence and who enjoys working in a challenging and fast paced environment and delivering results in a collaborative manner. You will also have strong communication skills, critical thinking and ability to engage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.

Profile required:

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Corporate M&A or Strategy, Management Consulting, PE or alike
  • Demonstratable experience in executing M&A and sale transactions and financial modelling is essential
  • High level of conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • FMCG experience would be appreciated but is not required
