We currently have a rewarding permanent full-time opportunity in the Supply Chain Operations team at Wetherill Park. This position will be reporting into the Technical Team Leader. Your main responsibility will be to complete routine requirements of the site food safety program and drive actions for continuous improvement. You must be available to work the afternoon shift which will either be 14:00 to 22:00 or 15:00 to 23:00.
 

Making safety a priority, you will be responsible for coordinating the day to day operations in the laboratory and being specifically responsible for:

• Physical/chemical/microbial testing, recording and reporting of raw materials, in process product, finish product and environmental monitoring/daily maintenance/calibration and servicing of equipment
• Trending and reporting to site on FP/WIP/incoming goods/ Raw Milk compliance
• Conducting product release in SAP-QM
• Reporting on Quality Lead Indicators at T1 and T2 Meetings
• Performing, reporting and following up on, inspections of factory conditions, equipment and implementation of corrective actions
• Performing internal audits and site GMP and Hygiene inspections
• Participating in consumer/customer complaints investigations and report findings to relevant parties
• Participating in non-conformance investigations and report findings to relevant parties
• Maintaining and driving improvements in Good Laboratory Practices
• Leading and maintaining pre-requisite activities as required by HACCP
• Providing technical support to external departments and business partners
• Maintaining and developing cost effective and sustainable operations through continuous improvement initiatives, using MEX
