At Lion Dairy & Drinks our overarching vision is to deliver sustainable, enjoyable nutrition to help people live well.

We’re proud to make, market and distribute some of Australia’s most iconic dairy and juice brands including Dairy Farmers, Pura, Dare Iced Coffee, Farmers Union, Yoplait, Daily Juice, The Juice Brothers and Zooper Dooper. Every year we purchase more than 750 million litres of milk from about 280 Australian dairy farmers and crush more than 40,000 tonnes of fruit from around 80 orange growers across the country.

We are offering a unique opportunity to Engineering graduates looking to kickstart their career, working within our Supply Chain team as part of our 2021 graduate program. The two-year program will see graduates gain experience across a number our Supply Chain functions, work on exciting projects involving some of Australia’s favourite products and be immersed in our achievement led culture.

You will be given access to an extensive learning and development program with opportunities for long term career growth. This is an exciting opportunity to work with passionate and experienced teams to develop your understanding of how a Supply Chain function operates and find your niche within this space.

As part of the Supply Chain Graduate Program, graduates will work on diverse tasks and gain experience with capital projects including:

  • Supporting the successful implementation on a variety of projects
  • Supporting site preparation activities
  • Assisting in the management of on-site contractors
  • Supporting installation & commissioning activities
  • Updating documents/ specifications as required
  • Ensuring all activities are completed safely and align with LDD’s safety policy & standards

This role is a great opportunity for someone who is wanting to gain experience in all areas of Supply Chain. You will be supported by an extensive graduate learning and development program which includes opportunities to connect with other Lion Graduates across Australia. 

What are we looking for in a Graduate?

  • Degree qualifications: Engineering disciplines including mechatronics, chemical, electrical, automation, mechanical and process engineering  
  • Project experience in an academic/volunteer/internship or workplace capacity
  • The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of people in various contexts
  • The initiative to identify and implement improvements to processes and/or environments
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, pressure and deadlines
  • Safety is at the core of everything we do, our graduates need to have a strong safety focus

Most importantly you are motivated and demonstrate our culture and values. You have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic and you’re willing to think big, be the best you can be and have fun while doing it! You are as passionate as we are about delivering sustainable enjoyable nutrition to help people live well.

  • You must be an Australian/New Zealand citizen or Australian Permanent Resident at the time of your application (essential)
  • You must have completed your degree in the last 2 years (or be due to complete it by January 2021)
  • You must be able to commence full time from the role start date, February 2021
