Asset fleet management Leader

We are looking for an experienced asset fleet management leader to join the team on a 12 month Maternity leave cover. We have thousands of refrigerators in our customers across the nation. You will find our refrigerators at convenience stores, petrol stations, perhaps your local milk bar, schools, sporting facilities and much more. We have to say our fridges are pretty important as we provide Australians with some of the most recognisable milk, yoghurt and juice brands such as Daily Juice, Vitasoy, Pura, YOGO, Dare and more.

Within your new role, you will form a vital cog in our sales team, be leading one direct report and partner with our sales, marketing & customer service teams to bring to life initiatives designed to improve our service levels, physical availability and presence in the marketplace. The way this team has become highly successful is due to the relationship we have formed with our third-party supplier who produces and maintains our fridges. Your responsibility will be to maintain the relationship and understand the service performance, ensuring timely and cost-effective management of the fleet and achieving SLA’s.

A large part of your new role will also be managing both the OPEX and CAPEX budgets for the team, working on the procurement of new units in line with business needs and managing the governance of assets in the market. To do so, you will be working hand in hand with our finance, reporting and sales teams to assess the performance of fridge assets, providing insights on how to improve ROI and maximise engagement in results.

You will have a sound commercial understanding, with the ability to dissect a P&L to understand the best opportunities of where to place our assets. With some excellent initiatives currently underway, you wouldn’t want to miss this great opportunity.

To be a success in this role we are ideally looking for an individual who has asset engagement experience within a similar industry, however a candidate with a background in sales operations, procurement, fleet management or similar would also be a great fit. You will be able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and coach your team to able to perform at the highest level.
