We are currently recruiting a Safety & Wellbeing Advisor for our Smithfield and Leeton sites, in a full time position. These sites produce iconic Australian juice products such as Daily Juice, Berri juices and Zooper Doopers.

The Safety & Wellbeing Advisor is a key front-line role and key to support our operational sites to achieve safety and wellbeing success. In this role you will be coaching the line supervisors and managers to be the best they can be and whilst ensuring our Safety and Wellbeing program is being achieved.

 Day-to-day, you will:

  • Assist in facilitating and managing safety & wellbeing planning processes, and contributing to improving the research capacity of the organisation.
  • Act as a health promotion resource for our team.
  • Analyse and prepare written reports, other publications and presentations for key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaborative relationships with stakeholders to achieve identified projects within the Vitasoy Safety and Wellbeing plan.
  • Actively represent Lion Dairy & Drinks and contribute to priorities through active participation in networks and working groups.
  • Work with the broader Safety and Wellbeing national team to identify opportunities for health and wellbeing projects.
  • Review and analysis of injury and wellbeing data to inform strategy and initiative development.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about driving and influencing systems thinking approach to safety & wellbeing and supporting the overall people and culture strategy.

 We are also looking for someone who has:

  • A tertiary qualification in OHS, wellbeing, health promotion, community development or equivalent experience with Health promotion or community development experience.
  • Experience working in a flexible and diverse team.
  • Ideally, you will be someone who brings diverse life experience and a genuine passion for what you do.
