We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Strategy & Corporate Development Advisor to join the Strategy and Corporate Development team. This is a permanent full-time position based at our York Street office in Sydney CBD, with flexible work arrangements available.

 

Who we are:

We are the largest brewer in Australia, bringing together four large and four small breweries across the country – from the iconic XXXX Brewery in Queensland and Boag’s Brewery in Tasmania to craft breweries such as Malt Shovel Brewery in Sydney and Little Creatures in Fremantle and Geelong. We also have Breweries and distribution channels in New Zealand, and a Little World Beverages arm which is focused on growing a portfolio of premium, crafted beverages in new overseas markets.

The role:

On this role, you will have the opportunity to support with the design and delivery of a wide range of strategic initiatives across ANZ and key other international markets, covering topics such as market expansion, due diligence, operating model design, post-merger integration, cost optimisation, etc.

This role will primarily work with the broader Strategy and Corporate Development team, and collaborate with the different business units as required. Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analysing and drawing insights from internal and external data points, including identifying future trends and business opportunities through market research/ other
  • Supporting the business in the execution of key initiatives – spanning across both strategic and M&A related topics
  • Providing support to the business in assessing performance, defining opportunities and structuring programs of work
  • Orchestrating the strategic planning cycle

 

Profile required:

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in Management Consulting (tier-1, boutique firms, big 4s), Corporate Strategy, PE or alike
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Great communication and influential skills to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently with strong project/ change management experience
  • FMCG experience would be appreciated but is not required. Having had exposure to M&A/ Due Diligence work would be advantageous
