Within the new structure of the Strategy and Optimisation team, you will play a key role in supporting the performance of the Supply Chain network and helping to enable commercial decisions on our future processing equipment and to support the Continuous Improvement agenda to optimise the use of current assets. The role will focus on capex projects, project management and continuous improvement projects.
Working across the network nationally you will support the processing equipment agenda as part of the longer-term plan for our operations function. Driving consistency across the network, you will also trouble shoot where necessary to assist in root cause resolution of difficult and ongoing problems. With knowledge of safety standards and an understanding of PLC, SCADA and MES systems you will work with site engineering teams to ensure standards are being met in all equipment tenders and purchases. Bringing an engineering degree or similar experience, you will have knowledge of processing equipment, specifications, contract agreements and project management gained from your experience in food and beverage manufacturing. With an ability to trouble shoot, learn quickly and develop site relationships you will be a key contact for sites and the broader business. This will role will build on your project management skills and provide opportunities to work with your capital management experience as we look to invest and modify existing technologies.
