The Fermentist is a microbrewery and taproom in Christchurch that is looking at the world a bit differently and is trying some interesting and different things. We have incorporated a number of sustainable practises into the brewery and taproom and look to experiment with the way we run the kitchen.
We are currently looking for a Part-time Chef to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team, reporting into the Head Chef of the venue, working Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Your creativity and knowledge with limiting food waste and keeping up to date with food trends will help us along our journey to make sustainability the new norm. Your genuine passion for using local produce, willingness to experiment with flavours and new menu items, and hunger to challenge yourself with a plant based menu will help you shine in this role.
