Our Group Strategy & Corporate Development team is currently looking for a superstar Analyst to join them to support in the development and execution of Lion’s Group Strategy and M&A activities.

This role is a cracking opportunity and demands someone with a curiosity for learning / culture / trends and the ability to use both sides of their brain to comb through data and creatively turn this into inspiring insights to drive key business outcomes.

In addition to joining a passionate, energetic and sociable team, you will support and lead key initiatives across both the domestic and international businesses while being expected to provide robust analysis, research, strategic insights and disciplined project management.

We are after someone with passion, flair and confidence and who gets a kick out of delivering superior results in a collaborative manner. This role has exposure to all levels of Lion, from the CEO to the sales teams; therefore a proven ability to adapt your style is important.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in either Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance (M&A) or Strategy within a major corporate;
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, modelling and problem solving skills;
  • An ability to deal with ambiguity and work under pressure whilst maintaining an excellent attention to detail;
  • Ability to work in teams and cross functional business partnering experience;
  • Relevant undergraduate degree with post graduate qualifications (CA/CPA/CFA/MBA); and
  • Ability to embrace work / life balance.
