Are you a Territory Manager looking for the next step in your sales career?

We are currently looking for a Business Development Executive to drive new business and work with our Multi site owners (MSO’s) across the Petrol & Convenience and Education channels. As the Business Development Executive you will play a lead role working in the field sales team across these channels. Working closely with the State & National Account Team this role presents an exciting opportunity for an energetic and vibrant sales professional who thrives on winning new business and building and leveraging relationships to deliver exceptional business outcomes for our valued customers and Lion.

The primary responsibility of the role is to grow new & existing business through effective and disciplined customer management and business planning in the Petrol & Convenience and Education channels. The successful applicant will have a strong track record in winning new business and developing strong business relationships with customers, negotiating mutually beneficial commercial outcomes. The successful person will endeavour to foster strong relationships across the team and will require a dedicated and focussed approach to strategic planning.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • FMCG experience
  • Experience in negotiating with customers operating multi sites, particularly in Petrol & Convenience
  • Demonstrated conversion of new business
  • Strong planning and negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be self-driven and enjoy setting your own targets
  • Understanding of consumer and customer needs across multiple channels
  • Basic understanding of Competition and Consumer law
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence.
