The Lion Tax team are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our team of tax specialists! This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of an experienced and supportive team in a sociable environment.

The opportunity:

• Support timely and quality delivery of on-time, no surprises compliance activities for all aspects of tax through efficient planning, execution and communication
• Ensure accurate, timely and high-quality reporting is prepared for stakeholders to meet agreed requirements
• Support the simplification of systems and processes to support continuous improvement
• Preparation and support of monthly tax provisions and quarterly tax effect accounting
• Support delivery of practical strategic commercial advice to support, protect and drive business performance
• Reporting to the AU direct tax manager with opportunities to work with other tax managers on the team

To be a successful member of our team you will have:

• Relevant tertiary degree and Professional qualification/registration e.g., CA/CPA and/or Masters of Tax or equivalent
• 3-5+ years’ experience in tax (first time mover from big4/mid tier or an in-house role for a large corporate)
• Experience using data to generate insights and make key decisions
• Demonstrated ability in building relationships, business partnering and influencing peers and stakeholders at all levels
• A willingness to learn and support your team members
