While our process varies role to role, below are the typical steps you can expect throughout recruitment when you apply for a role with us. We want you to do your absolute best, so our Talent Acquisition team will be on hand to support you through each step.

Find your dream role with us? Great! Apply from our careers page by uploading your CV or using your LinkedIn Profile. You can also submit a cover letter or further supporting materials if you like, but that’s completely up to you! We’ll also ask you to input a few extra details to your Lion Profile to help our Talent Team understand your suitability for the role. This should only take you a few minutes.
Virtual Interview
If selected to progress through to a Virtual Interview, you’ll receive an email with a link to record video responses to a set of questions designed to give us more insight into your experience and fit. This may also include some gamified assessments which you can learn about in the online assessments section below. This can be completed at a time most convenient for you. We use a tool called HireVue and you can learn a bit more about what to expect here.

Alternatively, you may be invited to have a 1:1 live Career Conversation with one of our Talent Acquisition Partners. We will ask you to talk through your recent experience, ask some questions about specific skill sets, and what you are looking for in your next job opportunity and company.

Our online assessment process enables our team to assess a variety of skills, competencies, traits and drivers required for our roles using a variety of gamified and cognitive ability assessments. Rest assured that if you get invited to complete this important step in the process, you’ll get lots of information and support from our team on what to expect and how to best prepare. We’ve also included some further information on a couple of our assessment tools below.
If you are selected to progress through to interview stages, our Talent Acquisition team will contact you and invite you for either an in-person or online interview.

That’s a wrap – congratulations! Your Talent Acquisition Partner will talk you through all the components of our offer and discuss your start date and onboarding. You may also get invited to meet some of your team before you start.

While most of our breweries and regional sales offices have parking, our head offices are usually best reached by public transportation.

As a general rule, business casual is probably best for interviews at Lion.
Most of our Supply Chain teams are in hi-vis and the rest of our teams tend to wear whatever is most comfortable and appropriate depending on the activities of their day, from beer branded t-shirts to skirts and slacks. So there isn't a dress code per se, but for your interview we'd suggest leaving the suit at home as well as the shorts.

Not all roles require medicals. Medicals tend to be required for roles based on one of our manufacturing sites or if you are driving a company issued vehicle for your role.
