National Account Manager - On Premise

We are currently looking for a superstar National Account Manager to nurture ongoing mutually beneficial sales results for Lion and it’s on premise customers. You will be responsible for all elements of account management relating to Lion’s Beer and Cider portfolio with focus across a number of key national on premise customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can demonstrate strong leadership skills and financial acumen, an ability to foster and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as positive negotiation and influencing skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive incremental volume and contribution through the On Premise initiatives, together with NPD, new customers and new channels
  • Work closely with regional teams who assist in the development and execution of plans with those customers
  • Establish relationships with the Sales Leaders, and National customer teams, together with a wide range of other leaders within the business
  • Negotiating and managing national trading terms
  • Developing and managing the joint customer business plan and implementing National promotional activity

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Previous account management experience with sophisticated on premise customers or Field Sales Management experience
  • The ability to successfully partner and negotiate with internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen & marketplace understanding
  • Strong relationship management & communication skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded
