Sydney West
Permanent Full Time

Do you want to take a key role in transforming Lion and creating new ways of working across our business?

We have an opportunity within our Transformation Program to join the People & Culture / Hire to Retire (H2R) Workstream.  The H2R team is striving to create the best people experience possible to help us to attract and retain the talent that we need at Lion now and into the future.

Examples of the activity areas that we are looking at in Hire to Retire include how we recruit and on-board new talent, how our people access and experience learning, the people analytics available to give insights and guide decisions, and how we carry out people practices like our talent and succession process. We will also be focussing on maximising the opportunity for team members and leaders to have self-service access to the information they need.

The successful candidate will actively participate in the project activities across different phases of the project and partner the Lion Hire to Retire team and a 3rd party vendor to implement industry best practices in the Transformation project.

For this particular role your accountabilities will include:

  • Take ownership of a number of specific People & Culture capability areas, for example Talent Planning (the process to identify, align, and develop potential candidates to fill Succession Planning roles within Lion, and the process which enables discussions on key talent and the management of Talent Pools),  Development Planning (a continuous process that helps team members develop for their current or future roles) and Competency Frameworks and Assessment
  • Take a lead role in the coordination and delivery of design activities, eg workshops and documentation
  • In partnership with a 3rd party, work on the design and build of the new processes and SuccessFactors systems
  • Ensure design, development, testing and deployment of all process changes, system changes and business changes identified
  • Support change readiness activities, training development and deployment of solution
  • Play a role in engaging with the business to ensure acceptance, signoff and uptake of the identified changes
  • Work collaboratively with other technical and functional team members
  • Be a champion for 'People Experience'

Ideally you will have:

  • A good understanding of people processes (in particular talent planning & development planning)
  • The ability to work to deadlines - communicate progress, identify risk/dependencies and manage expectations
  • Previous experience owning a process and engaging and partnering with multiple stakeholders
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to conduct research, ask questions to identify gaps and propose solutions
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors would be highly desirable
